upload speed

hi guys - i'm in eastwood, and have been on the 2 meg for a week or so - download is brilliant - but - my upload is still showing as 107kbps on speedtests - shouldn't it be nearer the 200kbps mark??

Re: upload speed

are you on cable modem - if so check your modem's config file

you need to type in an IP address - it's within the speed upgrade thread - i think it's something like 1.192.100.1

Do you have a link to the operating config page? It tells you your upload and download rates there on ours.

As you can get into the diagnostics page look for the tab that says Log and then click onto that.

You should see an entry similar to - 210305233846 7-Information D509.0 retrieved TFTP Config silver.cm SUCCESS

The first part will relate to the date i.e. 21-mar-05 23.38pm and 46 secs and the next number is the error number 7 - information etc etc

Post that back here and that will tell you the package your on.
