I know you are all dying to know; It has been snowing in East London. Only lasted about 30-60 mins, and it didn't settle, so no snowball fights for me in the morning it seems.

Its been a great week. All lakes frozen up, snow half way up my body, beautiful snow covered alps.

Hardly anything when I left the house this morning (just a light coating on the windscreen).
Unfortunately, Scunthorpe appeared to grind to a halt - it took me about 30 minutes to get to the M181 (approx 30 miles), but then 2½ hours to get from there to work (about another 5 miles)  - I wouldn't mind, but there seemed to be more snow in the air while I was just sat there, than there was on the ground in the first place

keeping fingers crossed we don't get any more and you don't have a repeat on the way home.
So far there has been a couple of flurries, but nothing has settled - it's quite nice watching big black clouds sailing along over the river - and dumping their contents on the other side
