Gmail notifier
I've had to unistall this because I keep getting one of those enter your id and password AND type in this word as you see it.
Not much point in having it if I have to do that every time.

Which one are you using, the official google one? If you are still using Firefox, there is a plugin for it... https://update.mozilla.org/extension...+&os=nt&id=173

Re: Gmail notifier
Mine works fine, IE6 is the browser, and I clear ALL my cookies every time the PC boots up or shuts down (HistoryKill)

Re: Gmail notifier
Since Gmail now has pop access, you can now use your favoured email client dispense with the notifier.

Re: Gmail notifier
Hmm, funny because I use IE6 & Notifier and on bootup I get the box asking for my personal details that I click OK.
From then on if I want to go to my inbox I just right click on the notifier icon & "view inbox".
However, if I use plain old IE6 to browse to it & log in it no longer accepts the keeping logged in bit & I have to enter my username/password every time.
Perhaps it's best to let Google know of the problems, then they can sort them out.

Re: Gmail notifier
I'll just not bother with the notifier and just log in every two weeks instead.
