Smile Getting Firefox to permanently display foreign characters?

Hey guys,

Hoping you can help me on this one....

I wondered how I can make Firefox permanently show special characters, for example ÃÃâ€*Չۉà ¢â€šÂ¬Ã…“zgÃÃâ€*’Âƚ¼r Can shows up most of the time as ?zg?r Can on my Firefox, I added Turkish as a language to my list as well as Swedish, Polish, Hungarian and French but FireFox sometimes shows things with question marks or other jibberish.

Please help!!

Re: Getting Firefox to permanently display foreign characters?

you may have to change your character encoding, but I am not 100% sure:

Tools > Options > General > Languages > Character Encoding...... and pick a relevant language, or make the language above that in a different order of preference, like your swedish (or whatever) first then english EN and so on.

I am at a loss then, but if you put a thread in the mozilla forum here you will probably get an answer to your problem.
