Replacement TV360 Box Remote won't work
I'd be grateful for some advice.
They sent me a replacement main box after telling me that they'd detected a HDD fault on the old box.
It boots up, downloads firmware/software and presents a front page but with a load of welcome to TV360 splurge. It came without a new remote.
The LED is blue. None of our Remotes work on this box and the LED doesn't flash when the remote is pointed at it. I've done the hard reset stuff etc - twice. I can sort of navigate the front page with the +- buttons and the LED button turns the unit off and the LED turns red.
Anyone know about this and if there's a fix I can make?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Seph,
Which actual box have you been sent?
As far as I'm aware it's only the Stream (Flex) box which doesn't have a hard drive that shows a blue LED.

What does a blue light on the Stream box mean?
This means the TV box is on standby. Just press the power button on the Virgin TV remote to wake the TV box up and turn it on. After that you’ll see a white light.

Re: Replacement TV360 Box Remote won't work
Update: Got it working finally with a lot of holding things down for 10 seconds, pairing the remote, powering off/on again, letting it find its feet for a few minutes and it sprang to life.
Thanks for reading.

Re: Replacement TV360 Box Remote won't work
Thanks for updating the thread Seph. It sounds like you reset and paired the remote by holding down the 'Live TV' (the one on the right hand side directly below the red power/standby button) and '0' button together for around 10/15 seconds.

Thanks for the reply. It's the standard TV360 master. The label on the bottom states that there is a "HDD" inside. I suspect they've sent a refurb in which the boot prom sets the LED to blue when in operation. It's RED on standby.
And don't you just hate the new "feature" which makes you press a second button to bring your previous programme up. Which VM dumbo decided to do that "feature"?

The TV 360 boots into the home screen and it's quite deliberate: VM provides a managed entertainment platform comprising legacy broadcast channels using DVB-C, IPTV (including VOD hosted by VM and FAST channels inside VM’s EPG) and OTT services delivered over IPTV. The last thing that VM wants to do is to keep putting you back to your last watched channel. So, you are on your home page and you decide what to watch.

You can't take your business elsewhere as Sky Q, Sky Stream/Glass always boot into the home screen.
