Anybody know why Sky are still getting away with charging customers for HD? They've got rid of many SD versions of channels so how can they justify the extra charge?
Services: Virgin Media M350, Hub 5, Mega TV with TNT Sports and Sky Sports & Cinema HD, TV 360 box + landline

Sky makes money from the HD charge, and quite a lot I suspect. If Sky removed the HD charge, they would have to raise the base package price to maintain margins.
