Upstream Modulation

Hi all.

Almost two weeks ago we had an intermittent signal in the area error show up on the help page. The upstream completely tanked to between 0-3 out of the 35 for about four hours.

It came back but ever since the modulation on a couple of channels hasn't been stable and it constantly keeps changing between 64 and 32. There are five channels in total and that's happening on two of them, at exactly the same time. I'm in the 350/35 package and I am still getting those speeds.

All of my power levels for both upstream and downstream are within spec and there's no post RS errors or T3 timeouts happening and I'm not losing connection. The problem is just the modulation constantly changing and not being the stable 64 it was before this intermittent signal in the area.

I've tried to call them but obviously you know that didn't get me anywhere, I might as well have been speaking German.

So I just wanted to ask if anyone else has seen this specific issue before. I'm starting to think it's yet another area over utilisation problem again because we've had a few of those over the years. I used to get help on the Virgin forums but recently found out they've gone now.

Appreciate your time reading.
