Re: Starmer’s chronicles
No more strikes after junior doctors accept pay offer
https://www.thetimes.com/article/eab...cf2ae8508b6b5d
Quote:
The British Medical Association has voted to accept a pay deal for junior doctors, bringing an end to years of strike action that has cost the NHS billions of pounds.
In a ballot of 33,000 resident doctors, formerly known as junior doctors, 53 per cent of members voted to accept a pay deal that will give them a 6.6 per cent pay rise on average and create thousands more jobs.
Dr Jack Fletcher, chair of the Resident Doctors Committee (RDC), said: “Resident doctors have spoken. They have decided that the current offer is sufficient to continue on the road to pay restoration, and sufficient to address the absurd lack of jobs in the NHS. The strikes will now end.”
It finally draws a line under three years of industrial action which has seen resident doctors walk out for 65 days in total, in 16 different rounds of strikes.

Re: Starmer’s chronicles
I want a pay rise as well, 6.6% would do nicely.

Lemon Party refers to an early 2000s shock website featuring an image of three elderly men having sex.

I was less elderly in the 2000s!

Re: Starmer’s chronicles
Thanks for clearing that up Seph, I shall endeavor to avoid any links that appear mentioning Lemon Parties.
I shall also have at the back of my mind, some serious reservations about what thenry does in his spare time

Re: Starmer’s chronicles
Don't worry they will be back out on strike in a few weeks, the Union fraudsters will not be happy with the extra £2 a month they are going to charge and will want more, so will demand the doctors get more and they will just keep doing it, till a junior doctors starting salary is £100k a year.
This is what happens when you have a spineless government controlled by Unions!
