Problem with login screen
I have an intermittent issue with with the windows login screen.
It acts as if one of the curser keys or the tab key is stuck and just keeps scrolling through all the buttons on the screen not allowing me to type in pin to login.
I've changed both mouse and keyboard and still the same.
anyone have any ideas what it could be?
Thanks

Have you turned it off and on again?

Re: Problem with login screen
Next time you get in run some checks
in elevated command prompt run SFC /scannow
See if it finds issues then run
dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
run them both before rebooting as you have issues . See if it helps failing that bypass log in screen
Press Win + R, type netplwiz, and uncheck "Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer." Enter your current password when prompted to enable automatic login

Re: Problem with login screen
Sorry it has been a while since I run netplwiz it appears now you have to disable windows hello first. To do this
Open Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options.
Under Windows Hello PIN, select Remove (you will need your password).
Turn Off the option: "For improved security, only allow Windows Hello sign-in for Microsoft accounts on this device.
Then configure the auto login . As I said I have not done this for a while now as I just use a pin and not had this issue
