Seeing dark clouds gathering and the wind has picked up . . . methinks a storm is on the way.

Just had a massive thunderstorm near Cambridge, roads flooded. Still 17c outside and 29c inside!

woke up at 2-30 am sweltering hot,had gone to bed with the window open ,had to turn on the air con.

Alot fresher this morning, I was able to wash the car at 9am without it evaporating instantly.

I'd rather have it like this than 2 months of blazing sunshine and heatwaves . . bugger all grows if there's no rain

In NW London at the moment, and we've just had an hour of thunder, lightning, torrential rain storm, and then a mixture of torrential rain and large hailstones...
