Of course I'm behind her, being a paid up member of Wokingham Conservatives.
But the public will continue to kick the Tories for as long as they see a front bench team made up of those who failed us when in power.

Don't think she does. But I could be wrong Mr(s) Thatcher was a bloke in drag, and that's a fact.

"Get behind her Seph....I think a corner is being turned at last”
Alas the corner being turned might well be a hard-right one!
Yes I do agree that Kemi absolutely takes Starmer apart at PMQs, but removing people such as James Cleverly will do nothing - I’m sure the majority of the electorate will ask ‘James who?’
I think that the battle should be along the lines of ‘yes Reform/Greens/Labour may offer an attractive sounding idea, but is it possibly feasible?’
It’s the same old game of offering apparently simple solutions to what are actually complex issue - it’s all the fault of the <insert name of group here>, and if only they were gotten rid off, then everything would be just peachy.

Good point, I suspect you won’t get an answer. Personally I blame William Gladstone - but maybe that’s just me.

Andy need to quit as Mayor and stand as an MP in a Bi-election (its said someone on the news is willing to "retire" early so he can stand)

Privatisation the end of looking after the consumer and the start of looking after the share holder. The very fact you felt the need to ask that question astounds me

Worth a punt at the bookies as Farage may have to quit his seat and Starmer's government is looking as stable as its Conservative predecessors.

If you think that started with her, dream on, looking after the shareholder has always been the priority of companies.

The very fact you try and blame anything on someone who was last in power 35 years ago astounds me.
So many PMs since then have made an utter balls up of pretty much everything, to try and blame one person from so long ago now ... is rather silly.

One question mark is enough, dont be a drama queen.
I have been affected by every PM before and after her, since at least the 1970's.
Yes, I remember the power cuts of 1974, and the "Winter of Discontent" in 1978/79.

People were already living in the council houses, so the net change in homeless etc was ZERO.

Oh no I find myself having to explain even though I really do not want to post here anymore but I was questioned about my view on Thatcher and the effects now and the point about council housing is pretty obvious or I thought so
Thatcher sold them did not replace them now we do not have them. It really not that hard to grasp surely? See now I am salty damn it haha
---------- Post added at 07:34 ---------- Previous post was at 07:32 ----------
Could also tie it all together with my previous point about privatisation because after all the council houses were sold up popped Private Housing Associations instead of the home own money generating council stock
---------- Post added at 08:07 ---------- Previous post was at 07:34 ----------
Where have all the coal mines gone. And seeing as I come from a mining area I have seen this first hand . Think that counts too? plus a hell of the lot of the economy is run of things she put in place. Steal industry Iron foundries ship building car manufacture . But no we are not still paying the price 35 years later
