That Amazon card is what gave me £40 just for getting the card and will give me another tenner when I activate it on the app and I think it is higher if you are a Prime member and you get less but some points for none amazon sales. I had the last card they did through New Day and did ok out of it

just looked it is 1 % on amazon and .5 everywhere . 2% for spending on event days like Prime Day etc

Re: What have you just bought?
Grass seed, seed spreader, top soil ,
Sprinkler thingy
Not paying the ridiculous money I’ve been quoted to get just one side of the grass returfed unless I have too
So if there’s any keen gardeners who can help a novice out with some knowledge/tips on patching grass and overseeding grass I’d be most grateful

Re: What have you just bought?
A couple of fans picked up new on vinted
https://belaco.co.uk/product/belaco-...tal-floor-fan/
These can sit on the inner window ledge drawing cool air in at night on a hot day where heat is trapped indoors.

I couldn't find it on Amazon but it looks something like this but alot cheaper, I bought 2 which worked perfectly in my place.
So if you got 2 for £15 each and they're not too big for then you should be fine.

Re: What have you just bought?
Because I see them kind of fans on AliExpress I think it's just junk but yours is corded. Have you ever cleaned it, is it easy to dismantle?

It's likely not been used enough to clean it to be honest so not sure if it difficult to clean, but it's definitely not junk, they're the best fans I've ever used and super quiet.
They're boxed up in the loft I'll get them down in the summer but as they're bedroom fans they don't get much use, I've got an older normal fan in the living room.

Re: What have you just bought?
We have one of these in our bedroom.
https://www.amazon.co.uk/DREO-Bedroo.../dp/B0G4M5V4GT
My daughter bought it for us, for xmas (2024), so we had it all last year, it works great, and is quiet.
