There were rumours during his absence from the squad but nobody was reporting anything other than the clubs mouthpiece of an injury. Arsenal let him leave out of contract because of contract differences.

It was the number he wore with pride and distinction, leading us to countless victories in the process – and Diogo Jota will forever be Liverpool Football Club’s number 20.

After consultation with his wife, Rute, and family, the club can announce the squad number will be retired in honour and memory of Diogo across all levels, including LFC Women and Academy.

Arteta is not Xabi Alonso. Sadly we went shopping at a certain supermarket and now wonder why it's all gone wrong.

Pep didn't want to disrupt a winning machine. They could have foreseen what was to unfold.

Although Sesko for £90m and having £60m left over from Isak seems way too good to turn our noses up at.

150mil for a 60m injury prone player is crazy but Newcastle gambled with him so well done.
Sheshko all these super fans were convincing themselves he's good. You'd hope he's a Giroud.

Marc Guehi has 12 months remaining on his Crystal Palace contract and Liverpool are keen to get him signed up. Nunez is going for decent money you reckon you'll retain the title if Isak gets signed too Den?

Sesko has chosen Man Utd. Newcastle could be left vulnerable. A chat with Eddie Howe will only go so far, it's the champions knocking on the door.
