Both in AI and roles that AI replace.

Looks like we have escaped with 10% tariffs compared to the EU's 20% tariffs. Let's see how it all plays out before celebrating.

My local police officer hasn't been visible for some time now. I'm not sure whether he's been drawn back on duties or he's no longer an employee. I do like police visible if in honest. Its reassuring.

Jess Phillips’ approach to the investigations in to the child grooming gangs is nothing short of diabolical.

If we did then maybe I wouldn't sit at home jumping at every noise, or scared to go out on an evening because thugs threaten you because you don't hand over your phone to them.

The majority of the time when police are in numbers those committing crimes get caught which is so satisfying. All the other times it's always a wish somebody was around to deal with it. Calling the police is useless. Sussex police hardly answer to calls for police presence.
There was an act of arson in the area I live in. Somebody tipped a can of petrol over steps, entrance to a building and set it alight. The fire brigade came out but the police were nowhere to be seen. The firefighters said the police won't come out. Sad. It makes me wonder whether that was an attempted murder charge |

 | Is that like around here where it’s a former police building but now just has a police phone box outside (sadly not like Dr Who) that puts you through to a police operator?

The police can't be everywhere 24/7, so it's not going to make much difference. Even in busy areas with lots of people around, it's only by chance they might be in the right place at the right time to prevent a crime or catch somebody.
