Nobody does. That's TV weren't really interested in cable carriage and the That's TV locals that are carried are areas which have been taken over by That's. Although they didn't keep the STV2 areas in Scotland when they took over the Scottish local franchises. North Wales TV seemingly didn't get added to the Wrexham area when the Virgin TV network expanded into that area. That's TV Border / That's TV Cumbria is the same thing, Cumbria being the actual name. Looking at the above list it seems that That's TV have a habit of embellishing the station names to represent areas beyond the cities / towns they actually "serve".

I was given an full list of channels that are broadcasting on Virgin Channel 159 last night.

All channels was known for years.

STV2 did stop broadcasting months before the joke of what That's Media called local TV launch on Freeview in Scotland.

That why you did not see me coming on here wanting Virgin to launch That's Scotland.

---------- Post added at 19:29 ---------- Previous post was at 19:28 ----------

I was also told last night That's Media don't broadcast an channel called That's TV Border.

---------- Post added at 20:04 ---------- Previous post was at 19:29 ----------

What Channel is called right now > Channel was known as launch:

*That's TV Humber > Estuary TV (That's Media took channel over in 2018)
*London TV > London Live (Local Television Limited took channel over in 2025)
*That's TV East > Mustard TV (That's Media took channel over in 2017)
*NOTTS TV
*Liverpool TV > Bay TV Liverpool (Local Television Limited took channel over in 2016)
*Latest TV
*Sheffield Live
*Tyne and Wear TV
*Bristol TV
*Cardiff TV
*Leeds TV
*NVTV
*Birmingham TV > Big Centre TV (Local Television Limited took channel over in 2016)
*That's TV West Anglia
*That's TV South Wales
*Teesside TV
*KMTV Made for Kent

You may see TNT Sports UK going out of business before Premier Sports mate.

As of December 2024 WBD owe $40B.

SSBL Limited owe less then £7m.

I imagine if the parent channel goes, we will lose the UK spin off.

I know you were given the full list as UKCTVC had to build a pro-forma network list for local TV in order to send it to you. Local & regional "network" listings have been scrapped at UKCTVC as the ex-NTL data wasn't being updated. The pro-form list you were given will form part of the new cross-platform regional services database and will be a building block for similar regional lists. BBC, ITV, C4 etc and regional variations for other services such as BBC Scotland, BBC Alba, S4C, RTÉ etc. All a bit off topic but that's what was happening.

STV had bid for multiple areas but ended up with STV Glasgow & STV Edinburgh covering all of them. Ultimately, even that wasn't viable and the entire service was rolled into a networked "STV2". I know that broadcasts stopped for a few months but the point is that That's TV had acquired the assets of "STV2". The pause was probably to reconfigure the DTT network for That's TV to, ostensibly, operate in the individual franchise areas. A reconfiguration certainly took place. What I was saying is that, although That's TV acquired the STV2 assets, at some point there was a decision to not continue with cable carriage. Presumably, cable carriage would have also needed a reconfiguration as, if I remember correctly, STV2 had morphed into a single service by then.

As for your last point, I don't think that anyone, anywhere, having seen what's on offer from a That's TV local channel has gone online to campaign for it to be brought to their area.

They possibly used that name as one of their multiple rebrands, who knows. Even That's Cumbria is highly exaggerated as a name. That's Carlisle would be better. It certainly isn't carried on Westmorland / South Lakes / Furness transmitters, so not available in that area. There will be That's Cumbria overspill in Scotland and Freeview include it as an overspill in one of their Freeview IP regions. Also in a Freely overspill region where, unfortunately, BBC Scotland & That's Cumbria are, technically, both assigned LCN 8. Oops!

If you are using that for info it may explain finding services such as That's TV Borders. Anyone could go on there and add whatever they want, That's TV Istanbul, That's TV Tokyo. Be careful when using it as a source.

I think it will be OK.

PBS America is own by PBS Distribution

Something like BBC Studio own U&Gold owners U Media.

Perhaps something to do with Sky ?
They removed Sky History +1 (SD) from boxes last week.
