Re: What are you eating now?
The feast before the feast..
Birdseye streamed vegetable rice (microwave), mushrooms (fried in butter and rapeseed oil), ribeye, I wanted to crunch into the fat bits (pan seared well done in sunflower oil and rapeseed oil) soft cheese and jalapeno nuggets/strips (air fryer) and baby potatoes in butter and herb (microwave).

A basic Tesco deep pan pizza, topped with my home-grown, home-smoked Habanero chilli powder.

Re: What are you eating now?
Chicken quarters, leg and thigh, in the air fryer for 35mins. Boiled veg, sprouts, carrots, cauliflower, broccoli and parsnips, roast potatoes in with the chicken, bisto gravy...
.. I forgot the Yorkshire puddings, I don't know how but they took 3 mins in the air fryer meltdown adverted.
I'm stuffed..

Masala dosa with the lentils curry it comes with and mutton rolls. From a Sri Lankan restaurant. Happy days.

Re: What are you eating now?
Just been to Tharavadu (Keralan restaurant in Leeds) for a late Christmas get together with friends.
I had Njerippan Kozhi for starters, Adu Cheera Mappas for mains, accompanied by a Kerala Paratha, washed down by 3 bottles of low alcohol Indian lager (I volunteered to be the designated driver).
Food was outstanding, and very good service.
NK - pieces of chicken in a gravy made with peppers, onion, & ground Kerala spices
ACM - boneless lamb cubes in a fresh spinach & a Kerala sauce,
KP - made with a dough of plain flour, oil, ghee, and water that is beaten into thin layers and rolled into a round bread; flaky, layered, and crispy on the outside, while soft and fluffy on the inside.

Re: What are you eating now?
Marinated lemon and herb chicken quarters (whole legs) from the butchers and drumsticks in rapeseed oil, red chilli flakes, turmeric and chopped garlic. They are in the air fryer for around half hour. Once cooked served with thin buttered pitta bread.
