			With Octopus, we're getting ~40% savings on Electric & Gas relative to the SVR because we have Smart Meters. That's a good reason to have them

			Still think human beings are the best smart meter.  Readings can be 'seasonally adjusted' dependent on the the latest prices. These smart things don't seem to be able to do that.

 |  Personally I've had smart meters for a good number of years. Never had any issues, neither do I need to ever need to remember to take meter readings. 
 
I can also just look on the app and see my current usage.
