With the Warner-Discovery merger on the horizon and Discovery being a major investor in GB News and Warner owning CNN, I wonder if Warner-Discovery may be tempted to withdraw from GB News. (In the same way that Comcast/NBC Universal did with Euronews when it acquired Sky and Sky News.)

That'll be interesting when you consider you and I have probably quite different tastes in news, but maybe you're right and they'll report more about the things that happen in nonwhite non English speaking countries .

Most news by definition is bad news. It's not that we want to hear it, it's more that's is useful to hear it.

I don't think there's much 'news' that is useful to me, even the regional news is about as appetising as mowing the lawn in a thunderstorm
Much of it is centered around the latest 23 yr old unmarried mother of 6 gender confused activist, who is sticking leaflets on telegraph poles in order to highlight that she can't feed her kids now that her Sky/Mobile contract has gone up £3 to £152 a month

Can’t say I’ve seen those stories in the Times, BBC, Sky, ITV, Yorkshire Post, or other major News outlets.
Maybe they’re just in the papers you read?
