Why can't I buy Mustard Oil labelled OK for food (rather than external use only)? OK I still use it - it's same stuff.
Why can't I get a burger cooked how I want it (well when it's a properly made one not burger van stock)?

 | How would you want a burger coooked? Minced / grounded meat can't be cooked pink.

So I get a last (supposedly*) update to W7 pro and MS screw up the display option to stretch the wallpaper to fit the desktop. Now doesn't work.
Just confirms that my next PC will be running a Linux distro.

* Says there's more updates to install today, probably fixing their screwup.

Steak tartare and similar are OK and that is even pinker.

I've even had some places not cook steak (warm steak) as I like it because "they are not allowed".

 | This may be the reason (found on Quora).

Just google 'gourmet burgers bacteria'. There was a lot of chain burger joints that had ecoli and salmonella in the majority of the burgers that were slightly undercooked. It's bad that people still think it's okay to eat them like that.

Dry January. What a ludicrous idea! The resident alcoholic in the office does it then thinks it give him licence to get rat arsed every other day of the year. Moderate drinking all year is surely better. Just done 3 dry days, that'll more than do for me ! |

Bit of a silly one, but seems to be on the increase . . watching movies and the music soundtrack almost drowns out the actors dialogue
Not that I have, but many people are spending over £600 on a nice TV and then another £200 on extras for decent audio
Signs of progress I guess

Signs of progress I guess | The sound quality on flat screens is generally poor. I use an AV and luckily I can increase the dialogue levels. You need at least to have a soundbar these days.

Hard work trying to find a good not to expensive Samsung soundbar as the reviews vary so much.

One thing I am unsure about is whether other makes of soundbar can be operated with my Samsung TV remote.?

Our Sony has the option to make the headphone output into a line output and to slave that to the volume control on the remote. Have a look in the setup menues.
We use it to drive the 100W subwoofer that gives meat to the audio. My sister calls it "Cinema Sound" The mid and upper range from the TV itself are fine.
