My car will be fixed in time for me and hubby's getaway break on Sunday, I personally cannot wait till Thursday as this is the date that I should be getting my car back just in time for hubby's birthday

It was certainly cold this morning Mr K as it took 20 minutes for the ice to disperse enough so that the OH could start driving the car.

Get a heated front windscreen Den, it's the feature I most value on my car. Deicer is no good when your breath then freezes on the inside !

I really miss my heated front screen, why oh why did I get a Toyota 
although it does go from -3 to 18C in a shade under 4 minutes . . . even with the window open so I can smoke while waiting for the thaw

Just back from hospital and getting out of the car and heard the loudest aircraft coming towards me, I swear it blocked out the sun and then I realised it was the Antonov AN-22 which had landed at Manchester Airport this morning. WOW is that one big plane prop plane, made me feel very small. Spectacular homecoming flyby though.
