I just phoned VM and a 2nd box cost would be £99+£20 activation so Ive decided to just replace the Tivo downstairs with a V6 which is coming on Saturday on quick start and I will move the Tivo upstairs to replace the V HD box.
Only cost is £20 for activation of the V6 and an extra £1 a month for the Tivo. I'll probably swap the boxes round in 5 years time when any 4K channels launch as the 4K tv is in the bedroom

 | £1 for the TiVo? I was quoted £7.50.

The full price is £7.50 per month for an additional V6 or TiVo.
However an existing V HD Box is usually £6.50. So to go from one TiVo box and one V box to two TiVo boxes would be effectively an extra £1 a month.

Would an 11 metre Ethernet cable be too long to operate a V6 properly?

Well, the Yodel delivery came nice and early at 7.45am and the installation was a breeze in about 15-20 minutes. I've programmed the remote for volume and powering off etc.
Really impressed with the speed of it especially You Tube. Just listening to the Radioline app. All good, just the expected very long wait for 4K content now.
