Would be a refreshing change

No, Dave, competition has the effect of bringing prices down. Monopolies push them up.

With TV sport in this country, we have seen a negative impact initially, but this will right itself. | wrong bill rocket when competition look what happened with phone bill train fares electric bill ect all when up never down

It isn't until 2019 at earliest.
 | Isn't it next summer the current BT Sport deal runs out? maybe they could negotiate for it then?

I presume you are saying that you pay for delivery via the £79 subscription. Although that is true, I took out that subscription for the TV service, and I pay no more than I pay to Netflix, so as far as I am concerned, yes it's free. Whatever view you take on that, you must admit, it's pretty good value for money.

On your second point, are you sure that VM are not in negotiations with BT on this?
 | I don't use Amazon mate not after working there and seeing how they treat their staff.
For second point very certain not one source has mentioned this to us.

I think we're close to the point where people are going to say "enough is enough" and the premier league bubble is going to burst, i say premier league as really that's what's pushed prices up so much.

I think most people will acknowledge that Sky has a reputation for high prices and Amazon the reverse.

Why would I be concerned about the size of Amazon? That sounds to me more of a political view. I am concerned about customer experience.

Their raisin d'etre, of course, is profit. I know that to some, profit is a dirty word, but the mods don't seem to mind.

I have never heard anyone say Amazon has a reputation for low prices.

This is the same Amazon that put the cost of Prime up from £49 to £79 in 2014, forcing you to have the streaming, whether you wanted it or not.
