This isn't right is it? Virgin media haven't brought in a bullsht "only on one box" rule?
 | Phone Virgin up Vince as l suspect there is a fault somewhere.

If the idea is to encourage punters to subscribe to sky sports this may not be the best choice of free game.

 | On the other hand if the game does turn out to be 'a cracker' then it will be seen as a good move by Sky. Admit it's unlikely though!

Could be a really good match.

 | Just as likely to be a defensive no risks taken game as both teams try to avoid defeat.

My point was intended to suggest a game involving one of the top sides would have been a better choice both on a footballing point of view and as a teaser to get more subscribers to sports packages.

 | If Swansea get a point at home to Everton on Saturday and Palace don't away to Man City then both sides will likely need a win, a draw is not going help either, a point or a less will put them both in the mix on the final day and Hull have Spurs at home and Palace are away to Man U.

As I say likely to be a really good match with a lot at stake.

Plus lets face it, the picking first match in a treble of Sunday PL games which are followed by 4 days of fixtures makes sense to me from the point of view of Sky trying to sell subs.

This is nothing more than a rumor I've seen on boxing forums backed up by a recent survey put out by Boxnation / BT Sport.
BT are allegedly interested in adding Premier Sports to their sports pack, similar to what recently happened with Boxnation.

BT Sports, Boxnation and Premier Sports all under 1 subscription. Depending on what your sporting preferences are, it's a great alternative to SKY Sports.
