Is Babestation on VM Ireland?

The World Service reported earlier that the people in the Irish town of Westport are fed up of receiving late night phone calls meant for Babestation.

Callers who don't put in the international dialling code before calling the UK based station end up getting through to Westport!

Not sure if Babestation is actually on VM Ireland; if not I assume they are watching it via satellite.

Re: Is Babestation on VM Ireland?

I'd be shocked if there was any cable coverage out there in the wild west of Ireland!

The MMDS network reaches (reached?) those parts. A few years ago we rented a cottage in Roundstone, Co. Galway, and I was amazed to find a Pace box a lot like the ones NTL used. No cable modem included, but otherwise much the same.

Babestation is available on Freesat & Sky, so Irish Sky customers can get it. Freesat is also well used & is often combined with Saorsat (Ireland's Freesat equivalent). Also on the borders of NI & the east coast there is overspill from Freeview coverage.

Re: Is Babestation on VM Ireland?

Looks like they resolved this pretty quickly:
http://www.mayonews.ie/news/29364-ba...port-confusion

PS. Love the bit about the personal apologies:

"Babestation representatives are arriving in Westport today with three of the station’s models to ‘personally apologise’ for what has happened."

Wonder what kind of apologies they have in mind LOL

I mainly watch babestation live online now, but I occasionally I watch on VM as well, but the picture quality is better online, I think its in 720p, whereas on TV its just in SD.
