Asda customers unable to pay as card 'fiasco' hits all stores

ASDA appear to be a total shambles yet again. The Cashiers are either very slow or dead fast and want you out as soon as possible.

My wife was badly effected by this in Hounslow today. There was no information for shoppers. NOTHING. Still allowing the shoppers in.

All she got for waiting nearly an hour to pay, was a shopping voucher for £5.00 and£2 was for the car park. Others had just walked out the store, and left there shopping.

Hardly a total shambles, they had a technical issue, it was fixed.

Things like that happen with computer systems sometimes

I was at an Asda just before it happened, at the time I thought it was a local issue, luckily I was just picking up a click n collect - glad I wasn't 5 minutes later though.

My partner went in there earlier this morning and she had a nice clear run without a hint of a problem.

Take it she didn't foolishly try to pay then Den ?

I avoid ASDA anyway. Something about the store layout and lighting gives me a migraine....
