That is the trouble with sequels is the more they do the worse they get generally.

Hardcore Henry - 3/10 for 43 minutes I bothered to endure.
I get it, its a new filming idea (Shot in first person with a go pro)

However that gimmick dies after 20 minutes and you get sick after that. A first person movie with an extremely confusing plot that's incredibly fast paced, what could go wrong?

Grimsby - 7/10 Surprisingly had laughs in it. Not as bad as one would expect from Cohen, up there with Borat this one.

Deepwater Horizon on a Times preview, great film, good set, realistic effects and VERY tense!

"The Man Who Would be King" which was on BBC4 as part of the Keith Richards lost weekend
One of my favourite movies of all time and a deserved must watch: 10/10

You can pick out a few cues that were borrowed by the Life of Brian a few years later |

Upping X-men: Apocalypse to 6/10 now.
Gave it a re-watch and it still has epic scenes, but seriously, Magneto's story is just absurd though.

Watched a couple of the Carry on films in the last week. Dated but still funny, and of course completely politically incorrect. Modern films can't get away with what they did.

Yes they certainly are still enjoyable as one has to take them for what they were in those days.
