You could always reprogram it with an axe.

Think you'd struggle to find a good excuse for the SH2 to be in shards.

Re: Superhub2 Firmware Upgrade
Well so far my experience with both has been either amazing or "makes me want to throw it out of the nearest window".

Well I have the SH1 and it's been in modem mode in all my possession. Can't see any problems. If you want control of your destiny just don't trust VM or their firmware.

Re: Superhub2 Firmware Upgrade
Currently have Superhub2 but am having my free super boost upgrade to 150 Mbps tomorrow.
Anyone have any idea what's involved and how long it takes please? Just wondering if there are any preparations I can make to make it easier.
Any helpful info greatly appreciated. TIA.

Re: Superhub2 Firmware Upgrade
Absolutely nothing to do or prepare for at all. Your shub will reboot tonight and a new config will drop down and away you go.

Thanks for that. Just wondering why I had to book an appointment and why they are sending an engineer tomorrow, if it's all done remotely.
I currently have 100mbps and am being boosted to 150Mbps. Could be they are going to install SuperHub3 but I'll only really know tomorrow.
Thanks again for your help.

I think it's a SuperHub2 - black square, rounded edges on a stand with small round depression in the bottom right hand corner containing a pinkish Virgin Logo.

Re: Superhub2 Firmware Upgrade
I cant check atm because i am watching the tennis. Either way, shub 1 and shub 2 are technically good for 400mbits. I am on 200mbits with a shub 2 and never have any problems. From what i have seen over the last couple of weeks it looks like they are trying to push out shub3s now as a form of futureproofing for speed upgrades.
