They claim that Sky have put up the package rate to us. No wonder customers complain..
Sky reps in Hounslow have said that they can offer us 50% discount if we return to Sky. For the first time, my wife even stopped to speak with them.
Anymore increases and we still have the same channels. Then it will be back to SKY

Sky put their prices up as well you know Arthur as rarely is the grass greener on the other side..

Wow, brilliant. I guess it pays to wait 5 years to get a second TiVo.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin Media TV (2016)
It would be good if we just got a few new channels - ie the missing Freeview ones. Where I reside the Freeview signal is dreadful so channels like SpikeTV etc would be nice.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin Media TV (2016)
I noticed last night that Virgin seem to have removed the copyright restrictions from the TiVo which stopped the multi-room streaming... i was able to stream everything

Yes, I found that too. It has been the thing that bugged me most about networked TiVos. I wonder if it's to bring TiVo in line with Sky Q which doesn't have this restriction. I hope Virgin Media can build on this with the next generation of TiVo. As it now is with my two networked TiVos I have the equivalent of a 2TB box with 6 tuners.

I wonder if Virgin have changed it from an opt-in thing where Virgin seeks the broadcasters permission, to an opt-out thing where Virgin just lets it be until a broadcaster complains about it. Seems odd that they went from the limited selection previously to virtually every channel available

I just got some new Ethernet cables from Amazon Tommorrow and is there any restrictions at all on this. I originally ditched them because what I could really view before was terrable it's took Virgin years, I guess it's because sky have no real restrictions but it shouldn't take 5 years
Also there is no longer a list of channels showing what available and the power cables for sharing now gone from her site, maybe this is for wifi on the new boxes

The only recordings I have found not able to stream are those from Watch.
Interestingly you mention about wifi on the new boxes. The other day I was trying the streaming out and my powering network was having a moment which stoppe it from working. A message came up on screen saying if you are using a wifi connection then try Ethernet, not seen that before.

Scrap that about Watch, was getting mixed up between padlock and no entry symbols, all recordings work ok.
