Nick did your upgrade happen today? Mine was scheduled but is still on the older version of firmware. There is still a few hours of 24th left so will wait to see if they push later.
Added..... I spoke to soon - the SH1 has just reset and it has been upgraded to 2.37.17

Yup that has happened to my Business SH1 since day one - for about the first 24 hours after a reboot the GUI will work, otherwise it hangs when it tries to render the advanced options menu - though the stats screen you can get to before login always works.
This never affects network throughput, but the GUI is unreliable after about 24 hours Roll on the Hitron with routed subnet firmware to finally get rid of the SH1 junk!

So far it seems stable network wise, however I am still getting full lock up of the GUI after it's been running for a while.

I get exactly the same results, they seem to have fixed the connection drops but GUI is not resolving anymore due to the lack of memory as others have mentioned.
It least it doesn't affect traffic, that's the main thing...

Same as mine but that's the domestic firmware release.

Re: SH1 - Firmware BUS_V2.37.17
Our Business Cable modem was upgraded to the new firmware at the start of the month and has been rock steady every since (I turned off the twice daily reboots!) I can also access the GUI without problems even after 18 days.
The one thing that still seems to be wrong is the reported amount of data transferred. Ours is currently showing 2.5 TB downloads in under 3 weeks, which is nonsense!
Does anyone know how you can scale from the number reported to reality? The number is not 1000 times out as that would give too low a number.

Why are you so sure that's nonsense? How else are you measuring your bandwidth?

Re: SH1 - Firmware BUS_V2.37.17
Our router also has totals which are at least 10-20 times lower. I also recall that this was reported before when a previous OS was released.

You see the same problem with all the Superhub firmwares, now and again.

You can't correct a garbage figure by scaling.

Re: SH1 - Firmware BUS_V2.37.17
Gave up on scaling the data usage! I have to report that since getting the firmware upgrade the modem has not locked up once in almost 2 months for data transfer although we have lost access to the login page after a month or so.
Yesterday I received an email from VMB promoting their new service. I replied asking if they now had a fixed IP with a block of IPs and the answer was no, with no indication of timescales.
Has anyone else heard when that might be released?

Re: SH1 - Firmware BUS_V2.37.17
I got that same mailshot and responded asking the same question I was told within 6 months routed static subnet mode will be available.
When I called they told me by June.
I am aware there is a trial going on now of the firmware that supports it - so hopefully not too long now.
Like you I have found the new Sh1 business firmware to be very stable - no problems with lockups, though like you the management web pages do lockout after a while as they have always done, but it doesn't affect traffic.
