Yes, shocked my stepdad last year. He'd been with Aviva since the Norwich Union days and his car insurance was massive last year. 15 minutes searching, found him a quote that was roughly 30% cheaper than Aviva. He called to cancel, they gave him a 20% saving on the quote.

TVL have just sent me another contribution for my composter. I reckon we're well over £1,000 up now not paying the BBC property tax.

That's the wee one's visa for China completed and handed in to the school. Feeling rather chuffed with myself as no help was needed. I just hope I have filled it out correctly as it was a bit of a nightmare tbh.

Finished today's Newport Half Marathon in 2 hours 5 minutes, not a time to be proud of but much better than I hoped for as it was hilly and I'd barely trained for it. Everything aches now...

			@ Russ well done.
Hubby took me out for lunch today, nothing fancy just Frankie & Benny's but it was nice just the two of us. What made it so nice is we just took our time to enjoy the meal, it was also nice to be able to talk in private about hubby's work situation without little ear's listening.

I've my first half of the season on Sunday. I'm torn between taking it easy and using it as a training run for my ultra or battering it and going for a new 1/2 marathon PB.

It's a flattish course so the competitive streak in me is beginning to win...

Spent a couple of hours yesterday cutting the lawn. Was a beautiful day - amazing when only a few days before it had a good couple of inches of snow on it
And today it's looking good for it.

Also, just got the details through for working the elections so that'll be a nice bonus (£600 + expenses).

Cheers
