It'll only be free on Freeview. A contact has said that there won't be any changes on Virgin Media or Sky "for the foreseeable future".

I think the tipping point on Tivo apps has now been reached, I can see 2016 being fondly remembered as VM's Year of the App. 2016 will be up there with 2008 the year that Sky basics was restored and 2013 the year that BT Sport came.

I thought the number was 40? Even I would not even contemplate 200.

Maybe a better question is how many 'worth having' apps are there?
I'm genuinely interested. I don't have a Roku, which apparently has loads of apps. How many of those are any good?

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin Media TV (2016)
A new country music channel 'Keep It Country' starts on Freesat on 1/3/16, it's already on Sky and joins Freeview in April.
Spot the missing platform...

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin Media TV (2016)
I'm leaving VM in March, so going back to Freeview, it will be interesting to see if I miss much from VM XL TV, personally I don't think I will. When I actually thought about what I watch it mostly is Freeview stuff? So it's been a bit of no brainer for me. As they say "I'm cutting the cord".
I really won't be sorry to see the back of TIVO.
