I wonder if this is exclusive to VM entirely, or exclusive to their TiVo customers only?

No it is not exclusive to Virgin and it does not include ITV Encore as far as l know.

Are you sure about that, Den? I thought VM was the only platform on which 'ITV Collections' appeared, and that is what the blurb says. Where else can you get this on demand service?

Well all the shows mentioned appear to be available on Sky , my box is showing the Lewis Boxsets S1-8. Isn't all that also available on the connected version of ITV Hub.

Maybe so, but not 'ITV Collections'.

Don't forget that ITV Encore's programming is largely repeats.

Collections is basically ITV boxsets of which are available on Sky.

You'll also find Now TV has a decent range of ITV boxsets.

True, but that doesn't change the fact that 'ITV Collections' is exclusive to Virgin Media.

Read Dens post properly it's exclusive to VM's TIVO XL customers not the platform all the content listed is available elsewhere.

VM once had ITV series before but dropped it as they said it didn't get viewed enough obviously they've struck a new deal.

I don't like to be pedantic, MM11, but I never did say that the content wasn't available elsewhere.

You could say the same about Spike, but that doesn't change the fact that some VM viewers are hankering after this channel.

My point is simply that ITV Collections is available only on VM. Some of these programmes at least have been aired on ITV Encore.

ITV Collections is the name Virgin has chosen to call this collection of content , the point Den and myself made is the content within it is available elsewhere. Let's leave the dicussion there my head hurts.

As is the case with ITV Encore, but I don't hear anyone else saying that this is not exclusive to Sky.

Makes sense as that would have given it two years' exclusive showing on Sky. ITV Encore launched 7pm on 9 June 2014 so I'm sure the launch date could well be June 2016.
