Very nice.... But not sure exactly what the point of them is yet. A lot of tech but using mobile phone software springs to my mind.
How are you getting on with it? I heard they freeze when you charge them. Are there many apps for it?

Yes, I suppose model making is one way to distract yourself from that. Fortunately, since my op I haven't had to change my diet, yet, so you have my sympathy.

Liking it a lot.
Not frozen, and I just restored my iPad3 apps to it.
I like the split screen facility, and swiping from the right to access recently used apps, and it's great for media consumption (watched Edge The Loner & Into the Badlands, Downloaded from Amazon Video on it).
Very crisp and clear display, and very responsive compared to my iPad3.

Re: What have you just bought?
A new monitor for the PC: Iiyama prolite 27" (1080 wide screen) as my eyes aren't getting any better and I'm fed up peering closely at the 19" one at the moment when I'm using CAD.
A 1Tb Freecom portable usb drive for HD films. My 250Gb Freecom drive is rapidly running out of space.
