Re: Just got the SuperHub 3
You're not the first to have one.. Just that those who had them first couldn't talk about it due to a trial NDA
Read the trial thread in the news section

Why oh why is the damn thing white?
Black is a much better choice of colour.

Yeah it's next to the subwoofer for now, I won't be using the wireless on this just yet, so should be fine. Will eventually switch to modem mode and hook it into my DLink Router. Just going to give it a couple of weeks before cancelling my Plusnet service.
The UI looks pretty slick, I really can't remember the superhub 2 well but there doesn't appear to be anything amazingly new on this. I did try to change the DHCP scope from 192.168.0.0/24 to 192.168.1.0/24 but it doesn't allow you to change that. You can only specify a range within 192.168.0.0/24.
Going around the house I did notice the wireless signal was better. I used to get dropouts on the superhub2 but not with this so far.Early days though. The signal strength and throughput are better all around.
edit: Don't see the option of 'Respond to ICMP echo requests sent to WAN IP' , either it's been removed or I am blind.

Re: Just got the SuperHub 3
All my other tech is black, so I wouldn't want a daft white box ruining the look of all my tech.

Wonder if there'd be much demand for offering a choice of colours. A lot of "minimalist" modern homes are styled in mostly-white.

It is not an option at this early stage, good luck!

I would not be bothered what colour it was.
The performance is more important to me.
