What on earth is the point of re-branding a channel for the sake of a very few films. Totally pointless.

If it didn't work they wouldn't keep doing it. Sky aren't stupid.

Tivo Bolt coming soon??
"Virgin Media already use TiVo hardware for their television service – and there are already rumours the firm is planning on bumping UK customers up to the latest TiVo Bolt hardware in the near future."

We have seen 100% confirmed info from Virgin Media UK Sources on what is set to happen within the next year on TiVo.
Information was given under the DNP order months ago.
That all we can post as of October 8th.

No, VM use TiVo's software on Cisco and Samsung hardware that was specifically designed for VM.

Well the rumours are wrong. Boxes designed for the US market wouldn't work in the UK for many different reasons. (I have explained why previously)

These aren't my words, just quotes taken from the web page I saw it on.
But they do call it a TiVo box rather than a Cisco/Samsung box ;-)
I'm sure they would adapt the new boxes using various methods to get them to work in the UK

I think it's currently in M+ and above. It does sound like it's going FTA in the article:
"PBS America will retain its channel slots on Sky and Virgin despite no longer receiving funding from the platforms, and will be available to all the platforms’ subscribers. It will launch on Freesat channel 160 from 1 November"
