Re: Virgin email moving away from Google

Google's starting price for all its app for Business Users is £79 per user per year - this is heavily discounted for Corporates in the UK (Jaguar LandRover, ITV, the Guardian, et al...)

I don't think this would be the full Google Apps for business though, just email. I'm sure it's still not cheap though.

Additionall, internally Virgin doesn't use Google apps for their infrastructure, it's good ol' Microsoft exchange.

What makes you say that? Don't see any major reports of issues on the Community Forum?

Re: Virgin email moving away from Google

My @virginmedia.com email is working ok.

Are you on a @blueyonder.co.uk address and have you been moved to the new system?

If you do have a problem then I would recommend posting to the Community Forum so they can investigate.

The connection has timed out

The server at my.virginmedia.com is taking too long to respond.

Re: Virgin email moving away from Google

It's pretty likely it's not connected to the migration (and so this thread) as only @blueyonder.co.uk addresses are being transferred at present. Try going to http://mail.virginmedia.com.

Re: Virgin email moving away from Google

Actually no it wasn't down at all. There's a known problem with legacy Outlook under Windows 10 and just a co-incidence. Fixed by running the system file checker: Extensive thread on the community forum covering this.
