I would imagine that they will probably show a second choice match each night on BT Sport 1 or 2 (like Sky did) and the rest on the red button.
The big clue here is that while Gary Linker is hosting the coverage of their top pick games on BT SPORT EUROPE on Tuesdays and Wednesdays (not sure about Europa on Thursdays) you also have Jake Humphrey hosting the second choice matches. I can't see them investing in a team with pundits etc.. for red button only coverage. I'd also bet most of the games shown on Showcase will be selected from the second choice Tuesday matches in the early rounds and during this they heavily promote the Wednesday games to try and get public to sign up.
They showed the Celtic Champions League Qualifier on BT Sport 1 last week and I noticed the new studio set up, very similar to the Sky set up. I wager one game will be on hosted on location and the other from the studio.

Was at BT Sports studios this week and they confirmed that they will be running Red Button to show all European Matches.
The studios look really impressive, and the biggest TV I have ever seen!

On VM the HD extra fee is only for the Sky channels - but on Sky you have to pay extra for all non-free HD channels.

Realistically though vms hd charge is hidden in the XL pack cost.

Yep you never get anything for nothing despite their claims and protestations that certain things are free.

I imagine the red button will be available to Virgin customers when the channels launch, unless they have a `technical hitch`!

is it the studio in the olympic park again?? i always liked that but then someone decided to present games on the side of the pitch which i always hated. nothing quite like seeing three ex professionals getting heckled on a rainy snowy day by fans in the stands looking for "banter".
Put them back in the studio. Get rid of michael owen. Hire andy gray. It's quite an easy fix
when will we see bt sport europe arrive this week?

Not really check the prices to purchase HBO content on BT.

Customers don't really care about channels, they want content.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2015) Vol. 2
Why is everyone so negative this morning... :-(
If other UK companies are getting hold of HBO content, doesn't this lower the value of Sky Atlantic? Just thinking that maybe VM will be able to negotiate a better price based on this.
