A lovely day out in Portsmouth ruined by the cost of lunch. Cafe at dockyard packed, so bought sarnie and drink from station. Near £6.

We usually take packed lunches when we go out for the day. Saves a fortune.

My bright yellow cast on the left is attracting thunderflies.
Well that's different. I just hope the little buggers are not getting inside. |

Well that's different. I just hope the little buggers are not getting inside. | Apparently ladybirds are also attracted by yellow so maybe they'll come and eat the thunderflies.

Hot weather. Don't mind the sun, but why do we have to have it so damn humid? I am wishing for 6 inches of snow right now I am that hot and uncomfortable. Anyone got rain forecast tomorrow? Might come your way tomorrow.

Oh excellent. If it does rain, could you let me know and I'll make my way there. Only about an hour from Stevenage on the train.

Looks like we're going to get a soaking.
