My happy thought - off to Kyrenia next Wednesday for a fortnight (staying at a friend's villa), and just checked the weather forecast.

Wednesday to Saturday - 33C, 35C, 36C, 36C - factor 30, methinks, and some ice cold beers for hydration purposes....

 | Watch out for snakes. Might be a bit far for you but if you go to the Greek side the moonlight tavern in paphos is the best restaurant I've ever been to, not the greatest food but the atmosphere and owner make it special.
