5 quid extra for bt sport 3 and 4 would be preferrable. that'd be roughly 15 quid for bt sports. they cant justify charge sky sports prices of 25-27 quid as they dont have enough content.
champions league is all very good but its not on enough to charge 10+ more. their EPL rights remain the same.

This is 2015...HD is everywhere...is there really a need for any surcharge for it?Netflix don't charge extra for HD, do they? mine is £5.99 a month, thought that was standard price.

If they can get away with it they will charge it and sadly it because of the relative inertia of customers who just seem to accept it as a extra charge rather getting up on their hind legs to complain about it or by quitting their TV packages.

 | Netflix do charge new customers for HD , its current new customer prices are as follows SD (1screen) £5.99 , HD (2 screens) £6.99 , HD/Ultra HD (4 screens) £8.99.

Blu Ray is also more expensive than DVD likewise so are PPV On Demand HD movies over SD movies.

If BT Sport is removed from the xl package then I would have to re-think my options totally. I could drop down a package or two and pay whatever BT charge for their channels,or leave Virgin altogether and sub to BT tv. It all depends on whether the sports channels are still free on BT tv in a years time. Alot to think about as I guess for others too.

morning all btw. a horrible rainy day here.

We think will reuse the money save on the BT Sport deal and go after new channels from Sky, Viacom, Sony and Universal.
 | now that would seriously annoy me and make me wonder if the subscription isn't getting to be be just too much.
