Tv Anywhere
When logging in to tv anywhere I get a mesage saying my browser (Chrone) is not good enough and do I want to proceed anyway. Flash is up to date as well. I think it mentions about upgrading my pc aswell but running an i7 with 18 gig of ram and a ddr5 2 gig graphics card must be enough.
I was wondering if anyone else has this and is there a fix for it
Cheers

Re: Tv Anywhere
Chrome doesnt work anymore, you`ll have to use another browser Be warned, it will cost you one of your monthly slots when you change browsers

Firefox is supported on both Windows and OS X and Safari is supported on OS X.
IE is supported, however there is a restriction on Win 8.1 devices with touchscreens at present (due to a request from the content providers to block Windows Tablets from using the browser version of TV Anywhere)

Re: Tv Anywhere
Bad news too if you have updated your Android device to Lollipop as Virgin still haven't got the Anywhere App to work.
Can't be too hard on them as it's only 6 months since public release.
Mind you I did have to laugh when I saw Virgin's Facebook post announcing Galaxy S6 coming soon.
Unless they get their act together I expect it will have to be shipped with a big sticker on it saying "Want Virgin TV Anywhere - tough you've got Lollipop!"

Re: Tv Anywhere
It is actually working on Lollipop now after a recent update.
Though with being Wi-Fi only, for a lot of people a bit useless?
The things I hate most though are the lack of slots and only being able to swap once a month. Oh and it not working with Chromecast.
Who these days only has 2 or 3 capable devices?
Aside that it's great.

Re: Tv Anywhere
Well you can get free wiFi almost anywhere now so shouldn't be to much of a problem.

Lack of Chromecast ( and AirPlay) support is common, Sky Go also.
Provide that function and there is no need for multiroom.

Re: Tv Anywhere
Also potentially exposes the content to copying which is the bigger reason I'd expect.

I get that. We have Tivo plus 4 HD boxes and were told we can't have anymore so it would have been a big help for the rooms where we have no box.
Oh well, I just work round it best I can.

Oh no, how would they ever cope with someone copying their content from VM's potato quality streams?
Also, shouldn't it now be called "TV Sort-Of-Anywhere (If you have Wifi and the right* browser and hardware)"

I can't think of anything on TV Anywhere that could not be copied via other means. In the case of a US show it will have been available before it reached these shores!

Re: Tv Anywhere
The one big thing i dislike about TV Anywhere is that its not usable on 3G.
