Don't forget to deselect auto renew (or similar setting) on Amazon if you don't want to continue after the free trial, or you will be charged £79.

You've got SKY Atlantic shows on there such as Blue Bloods, Ray Donovan, The Following and The Borgia. Black Sails and Turn are worth a try plus Vikings is a real must.

I thought this thread was about sports channel news. Seems to have wandered a bit OT.

BBC Two has acquired the rights from BT Sport to show the new series of The Clare Balding Show in an innovative new deal, which will see the show screened on both channels.Link |

Nobody was watching it so we've given it to an organisation that wants it to give the impression it's still interested in sport. Laughable.

Ok I admit it, I watch the Claire balding show and not ashamed to say I like it. There you go, What's wrong with BBC showing for the reasons they expressed? They get a show that probably cost BT more to make then they are buying rights so it's another filler in their schedule at value to tax payer rather than making their own similar one. Some would say Claire balding is one of their own so makes transition to be shown on BBC more palatable

It will probably be better a day after on the BBC too as it will be edited to half an hour and will be advert free.

It's not innovative, it's desperate.

It's also worth considering the fact that licence fee payers don't do so in order to see their money prop up the offerings of private companies, just as BT Sport subscribers don't expect to see the content they pay a premium to watch end up fta the following day.

 | It's an exaggeration that it's innovative as content often airs on pay-TV first before being shown on FTA TV. I wouldn't call it desperate though; I would call it opportunistic.
Equally, it's an exaggeration that the BBC will be propping up the offerings of a private company by paying for half an hour a week of previously-shown programming. The BBC does prop up private companies by commissioning original programming from them and by acting as a training ground for the industry.

 | It's just 'I hate the BBC' andy_m trying to find something that he thinks will reflect badly on the BBC. It doesn't of course; the BBC buys in loads of content made by other companies.
