Some rump steaks from Sainsbury's on promotion.
Don't. They're as tough as old leather and unless you fancy auditioning for an eskimo chewing leather straps for your sled give them a wide berth. Must be from time expired milkers. Chucked most of it away as completely inedible.

The most rubbish steak I've ever tried. Sticking to Lidl's from now on.

l personally don't like rump steak and much prefer the more tender sirloin steak heero.

Decent rump has better flavour but this was rubbish. Didn't even taste nice. Reckon they're passing off some cheap cut as rump.
Last time I buy steak from JS.

Bacon*, eggs, sausages, tomatoes, mushrooms and hash browns. Makes up for the lousy Sainsbury's steaks from yesterday.
 * Dry cured back from Lidl. Superb, no white muck or shrinkage.

Roast chicken with garlic and Cajun spices, steamed broc, knobbies and beans, mashed cauli with garlic, cheese and butter, topped off with more butter, and a butter garnish. Just the stuff for a shrinking gal.
Washed down with a neither-here-nor-there glass (or three) of Merlot, red but the chicken is past caring, and to be blunt, so am I.
