Landlords to check ID & citizenship

I think that Landlords will always get round this. All landlords are after one thing - more money, If a family turn up and offer double rent, the landlord will take it.

Your contradicting yourself in an attempt to paint the landlord as evil and nasty .He is paying the mortgage himself he is just using funds from rent to do it as opposed to funds from wages ,when the mortgage is paid off the rent from the DWP will simply go into his bank account making him even more evil and nasty

Evil and nasty? Not as long as I've known him. He's just working the system to eventually get 2 free houses c/o the benefits system. And I can't see any sign of me contradicting myself.

you said he hasn't paid a penny off the mortgages when clearly he has or they would have been repossessed ,the fact that he using rent money to pay off the mortgage is irrelevant and the fact that the rent comes from the DWP is also irrelevant .You are accusing him of working the system when he is providing a perfectly legitimate service and being paid for it ,you clearly have a chip on your shoulder for those better off than yourself especially since you then go on to accuse him of being a dodgy landlord without any evidence whatsoever

HE doesn't spend any of HIS money on the mortgage. The tenants claim Housing benefit and THAT pays the mortgage. Simple enough? Or are you into some sort of semantics?

The housing benefit is HIS money ,it is HIS rent and he can do with it what he sees fit,he can go on holiday ,buy a car or pay off a mortgage it is up to him because it is HIS money or is that beyond your comprehension
