Only taken an hour for me to rectify the big balls up I made earlier when doing an update in Windows. Had to go back to scratch, but worth it to have a fully functioning laptop again.

Thanks guys, appreciate it, Jefferson and den put things in perspective to, I'm pooing myself at the prospect of getting paid nearly twice as much as I am now, it's a trivial complaint compared to what you both put up with

Relative who had a parking ticket issued in July despite them having a valid ticket which fell off the windscreen heard back this evening from the company. Nearly 3 months on. And she doesn't have to pay, we sent the ticket as proof and they emailed tonight and said they are cancelling the ticket.

Yeah, she's pleased because we thought that even though we showed proof we had a ticket they would have said it was our job to make sure the ticket was displayed properly, so that is a relief that they cancelled it. Thank God, money is tight enough this month for her as an unexpected electrician bill and new tyres on her car has made money really tight.

Too true unexpected expenses makes pay day seem far away sometimes. I'm not working (on the sick) at the moment and did not realise just how much my wages/overtime contributed to the house.
