File renamer

I recently had a piece of software that would rename my media files but for the life of me I can't remember the name, it works my downloading the meta data from certain sites and renames them according so they all are uniform format - i.e s01 e02 the beginning

does anyone know what this is called or can recommend a alternative.

cheers

CKrename is the most flexible one I've ever tried, and I have now been using it for many years.
