But why should the fans show him any gratitude? I agree the the club as a whole handled each situation involving him badly, but he is the root cause of all the bad publicity the club has had recently. The club wouldn't have been in the situations it found itself in if it wasn't for him. I think on the whole the fans were backing the club rather than Suarez when they stood by him.
