Two new channels coming to Sky.
-Gems TV will soon launch a new teleshopping channel called ‘Equal World’ on Sky Channel 652.
-Turner Broadcasting Systems has took over Price Drop Sky channel number (654) for Tru TV to launch on August 2nd.

SONY PICTURES TELEVISION TO ACQUIRE CSC MEDIA GROUP
Sony Pictures Television (SPT) today announced that it has reached an agreement to acquire CSC Media Group (CSC) in the UK.
Under the agreement, SPT will own and operate the 16 ad-supported channels in the company’s portfolio, pending regulatory approval.

The Original stays the same at £21.50
The Variety increases by £1 to £28.00
The Family increases by £1 to £33.00
Sky Sports pack increases £2.50 to £24.50
Sky Movies pack increases 50p to £16.50

The sports pack rise is so much more compared to the movie pack,wonder why this is? My guess is it is so less expensive to keep repeating the same old tat that is spewed out on most of the sky film channels than it is to broadcast live sport.
