That depends on numerous factors Vince , whats is your estimated BB speed this is determined by distance from the exchange and does your property have fibre available ? If so this will give you the potential of upto 80mb see my speed below which is with BT Infinity the speed would pretty much be the same were it Sky Fibre Pro I was using. My only gripe with Sky is their fibre pricing hence why I chose BT Infinity.

With SKY, I only ever got 10 MB a second, whereas the house just 2 doors down from me got speeds of 30 MB a second. SKY were rip offs, kept adding charges that I never did and in the end I told them to get lost.

You don't get much of value transferring from VM to Sky, Vince, most of the channels that we don't have are rubbish.
Except one I could mention.....but won't
|
that's rubbish too game of thrones aside that's why vast majority of sky customer don't watch it either it hasn't even got 10% yet has it

Was also confirmed by boss of Sky Basic channels told an viewer that SA will not launch on Virgin anytime soon.
I DO know the new Sky Sports HD Channels launch date - but it under DNP Order.
But I have seen no news on if Sky1 +1 (On Smallworld right now) and Pick +1 may also launch with Sky Sports News HD and Sky News HD.

I'm very happy with my SKY broadband. I get 18mb at all times and have never had any connection problems. Plus I get it for free. Can't argue with that really. It meets my household needs.

I got away with it three times, but on the fourth they told me computer said no because I'd already had three! I appreciate the fact that I'd signed up to their service and knew the terms, but I was getting a bit fed up at being provided with equipment which only lasted just over a year each time four times. I already had Virgin broadband, I didn't need much of a reason to take TV with them and this was it. There was no attempt to keep me, apart from reminding me that I might be missing out on some good Christmas tv (for t'was the season)!
