Re: superhub 2 software version V1.01.29 Out Now

I'm told that the people who are not yet updated to R1.29 are likely to be SH2 triallists, whose SH2 has not been replaced since, and who may be on a triallist host domain.

Hmmm, I did wonder that. Does being on a triallist host domain make a difference to anything else I wonder?

Nothing specific - just seems slightly odd that the SH2 early adopters might still be in a separate group in some way.

Re: superhub 2 software version V1.01.29 Out Now

I'm pretty sure the trialist superhub (1) that I was given is still active. I've moved away from the area so it's just gathering dust in a box, but despite switching back to my Ambit 300, the hub still worked years later.

Hmm, maybe that's why my update borked and I had to pinhole it .....

Could explain still being on 26 here - despite a reboot this morning thanks to a power cut.

Cheers

Re: superhub 2 software version V1.01.29 Out Now

I have a ShubII and I was not a trialist. I have not yet got the update, despite power cycling. So the roll out is certainly not yet complete.

UPDATE: Though a power cycle downloaded the update according to my log, it seems a software reboot was needed to apply it. Now updated.

Indeed, but how many people actually upgrade to the latest each year? Even if they have, would they see much benefit switching to an AC router? I can't think of many situations where a phone would need greater than 100Mbit download speeds.

No .29 here either (and probably for this reason).

Makes sense. The trialists would need to be segregated to ensure beta software was only pushed to them.

Either that or VM think we were (are) a bunch of pedants who are just going to point out the holes in it

Re: superhub 2 software version V1.01.29 Out Now

I'm still on V1.01.26 despite automatic SH2 reboot last night. I was one of the original SH2 trialists, but I am no longer active as such.
